Overview

Get on a 10-Night Himalayan bike expedition from Srinagar to Manali through Ladakh. Begin with Srinagar, then ride via Sonmarg and Zoji La into Drass, visiting the Kargil War Memorial before settling in Kargil. Continue to Leh with stops at Lamayuru Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the Hall of Fame. Cross Khardung La to Nubra Valley for Diskit’s Maitreya Buddha and Hunder’s dunes. Then ride the lesser-travelled Shyok route to Pangong Lake. Head onwards to remote Hanle, conquer Umling La, unwind at Tso Moriri, and finish with dramatic high-pass riding to Jispa and Manali.

Itinerary Detail

Day 1 – Arrival in Srinagar

Morning: Land at Srinagar Airport and proceed to your pre-booked hotel.

Afternoon: Check in and spend the day at leisure to rest and prepare for the journey ahead.

Evening: Dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2 – Srinagar to Kargil (200 km/4-5 hours)

Morning: After breakfast, collect your bikes and begin the ride towards Sonmarg.

Afternoon: Ride up to Zoji La and descend into the Ladakh region. Continue to Drass and visit the Kargil War Memorial.

Evening: Arrive in Kargil, check in at the hotel, and relax. Dinner and an overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 3 – Kargil to Leh (220 km/ 6-7 hours)

Morning: Enjoy breakfast, complete the check-out formalities, and begin your ride to Leh.

Afternoon: En route, stop at Lamayuru Monastery and admire the dramatic lunar-like landscapes. Continue via the Srinagar–Leh Highway with stops at Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the Hall of Fame Museum.

Evening: Arrive in Leh, check in at the hotel, and unwind. Dinner and an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 4 – Leh to Nubra Valley (130 km/ 5-6 hours)

Morning: Post breakfast, check out and ride to Nubra Valley. Halt at Khardung La Pass for photos and views.

Afternoon: Arrive in Nubra Valley. Visit the Diskit Monastery complex to see the Maitreya Buddha statue. Continue to Hunder Sand Dunes for an optional double-humped Bactrian camel ride.

Evening: Head to your campsite, check in, and relax. Dinner and an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 5 – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (260 km/ 8–9 hours)

Morning: Fuel up with breakfast, start riding towards Pangong Lake via the lesser-travelled Shyok route.

Afternoon: Ride alongside the Shyok River and pass through villages such as Agham, Shyok, Durbuk and Tangtse. Expect slushy patches, water crossings, and rocky stretches; ride cautiously.

Evening: Reach Pangong Lake and enjoy the first views of the shimmering blue waters. Dinner and an overnight stay in tents near Pangong.

Day 6 – Pangong Lake to Hanle (260 km/ 8–9 hours)

Morning: After breakfast, begin riding alongside Pangong Lake, crossing Merek Village and Chushul.

Afternoon: Continue via Loma Bridge and take the turn towards Hanle. Arrive and check into a guest
house (hotels are limited due to the remote location).

Evening: Leisure time in the quiet high-altitude setting. Dinner and an overnight stay in Hanle.

Note: This is a restricted region; permits are required.

Day 7 – Hanle – Umling La – Tso Moriri Lake

Morning: Post breakfast, check out and start early for Umling La, one of the most exciting riding days of the tour.

Afternoon: After crossing Umling La, continue to Tso Moriri Lake. On arrival, take a relaxed walk by the lake (time and weather permitting).

Evening: Dinner and an overnight stay in Korzok (hotel/home stay/camps).

Day 8 – Tso Moriri to Leh (260 km/ 8–9 hours)

Morning: Early breakfast and depart for Leh for the last leg of the Ladakh circuit.

Afternoon: En route, pass Puga (sulphur area), Tso Kar Lake, and cross Taglang La Pass (17,585 ft).

Evening: Arrive in Leh, check in, and rest. Dinner and an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 9 – Leh to Jispa (320 km/ 9–10 hours)

Morning: Begin your day with breakfast, and proceed on your ride towards Jispa.

Afternoon: Enjoy the ever-changing cold desert landscapes and high-pass riding; Tanglang La offers dramatic mountain views on clear days.

Evening: Arrive in Jispa, settle in, and spend time with your group and locals. Dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel/camps.

Day 10 – Jispa to Manali (120 km/6-8 hours)

Morning: Wake up in Jispa, have breakfast, and set out for the final riding day.

Afternoon: Cross Baralacha La (16,050 ft), pass Zing Zing Bar, and continue through the scenic villages of Lahaul Valley.

Evening: Reach Manali and check in at your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and an overnight stay in Manali.

Day 11 – Departure

Morning: After breakfast, complete the check-out procedure and proceed for your onward journey.

Exclusion

  • Personal expenses (telephone, laundry, tips, table drinks, etc.).
  • Any insurance (medical, accidental, theft, etc.).
  • Any airfare/rail fare other than what is mentioned in the inclusions.
  • Airport/railway station/bus stop pickup or drop.
  • Cost of spare parts used due to accidental damage while the motorbike is in the rider’s possession.
  • Cost incurred to transfer/tow the motorbike in case it is dropped on the way.
  • Vehicle servicing/maintenance cost (if using your own bike).
  • Lunch and any other meals not mentioned in the inclusions.
  • Refundable security deposit of INR 5,000 per motorbike, as per the deposit policy (refunded if there is no damage and no spare parts are used).
  • Parking fees and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
  • Any cost due to extension or change of itinerary because of natural calamities, roadblocks, vehicle breakdowns, union issues, or factors beyond our control.
  • Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.

Important Notes

  • If the Manali Biking Association and Leh Biking Association issue arises for the 2026 season, bikes will be provided from Sarchu instead of Manali (or vice versa). The Manali–Sarchu / Sarchu–Manali sector will be covered in a 4-wheeler.
  • Rohtang Pass will not be covered, as permits are currently not being issued for biking tours via Rohtang.
  • All tours will operate via Atal Tunnel.
  • Bikes will be allocated and handed over to guests on Day 02 morning for all tours.

Special Note:

  • All taxes, entrance fees, airfare, hotel, and transport rates are applicable as of the date of quotation. Any future hike will be charged extra.
