Journey to Ladakh

Upon arrival at the Kushok Bakula Airport in Leh, you will be attended by our representative. You will be directly taken to the hotel in Leh from the airport, which is 3500 m above sea level. Upon arrival, you will have to complete the check-in formalities. Rest in the room and let your body acclimate to the reduced oxygen level and atmospheric pressure. The entire day is your leisure time, and you can take a stroll to nearby places and have a delicious Ladakhi meal at any restaurant.

Return to the hotel during the evening. Your dinner will be served at the hotel.

After a scrumptious breakfast, prepare for a full day of exploration. In the morning, you will drive west of Leh and explore the miniature paintings at the Alchi Monastery. The foundation stone of Alchi Monastery was laid sometime back in 990 A.D. En route, drive past Magnetic Hill and the confluence of Indus and Zanskar River at Nimu. While heading back to Leh, en route, visit the Military Hall of Fame.

You will have to stay overnight at the hotel in Leh. Dinner will be served in your room. After that, tuck yourself into a comfortable bed for some sleep.

After eating a filling breakfast, you will have to complete all the check-out formalities and then head to your next destination, Nubra Valley. It is an astonishing place with an abundance of beauty all around. You will start the road trip to Nubra Valley early in the morning via Khardungla Pass, which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and considered one of the highest motorable passes in the world.

After a halt at the Khardung La, you will proceed towards the Nubra Valley. Explore Hunder & Diskit Monasteries in the afternoon and enjoy the camel safari at the white sand dunes. The safari tour is done with double-humped camels found only in Nubra Valley. Later, head towards the deluxe camp/hotel and have an assisted check-in at the respective place. Enjoy the delicious dinner, and then you can stroll near the accommodation. Enjoy the enchanting beauty of the valley and revel in the stargazing.

There will be an overnight stay at the Deluxe Camp/Hotel in Nubra Valley. You can have your dinner under the sheet of stars.

Have breakfast with a view of the valley, pack your bags, and drive Nubra to Turtuk. Your first destination today will be the beautiful village of Turtuk. It will take approximately 4 hours to reach this reach village, and en route, there will be several exotic landscapes and beautiful views amidst the Himalayan region. Turtuk is an offbeat but equally mesmerizing place like the other regions of Ladakh. The entire settlement is still based on the one that was 40 years old when it was a territory of Pakistan. People here still speak Baltistani.

Upon arrival, take a walk around the village, enjoy your time exploring the place, and meet up with new people here. After an eventful day, return to the Hunder Village for a night's stay. On arriving here, complete your check-in formalities and enjoy your overnight stay at a hotel for a camp. Your dinner will be served in the hotel itself.

After your delicious breakfast, complete your check-out formalities. After this, you will proceed towards Hunder to Pangong Lake, another pristine and spellbinding destination on your itinerary. That’s not it. While driving towards Pangong, you will cross and visit several other vital destinations in Ladakh, including Changla Pass, Shyok Valley, Durbuk Village, and Tangtse Village. Apart from the beautiful landscapes and mountains at the backdrop, Pangong is also popular because of its color-changing abilities throughout the day, according to the sun.

Upon arrival, you will enter the camps and complete all the formalities. Rest for some time, and the entire day will be spent at your leisure. Enjoy a romantic walk with your travel buddy and click on some amazing pictures. Your stay at Pangong will be overnight in a tent.

You can enjoy waking up to a pristine, quaint, and breathtaking view of Pangong Lake. Have your breakfast and enjoy a photo session around the lake. Mornings are always blissful here, and you will enjoy them a lot. Now, you will head back to Leh, and en route, you will enjoy various other attractions, including Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and Hemis Monastery. Upon arrival, complete your check-in process and relax for some time. Your evening is at your leisure to spend. Take a walk or enjoy the market. Your dinner will be served at the hotel, and after that, you can tuck yourself into a comfortable bed to enjoy your sleep.

This is the last day of your Leh Ladakh itinerary. You will get breakfast early in the morning in your room itself. After enjoying the meal, check out, and our representative will help you reach the KBR airport in Leh. You will be boarding your flight from there to Delhi. From where you can go on your journey onwards.
