Experience Ladakh on a week-long journey packed with dramatic landscapes, high passes and timeless monasteries. Begin with acclimatisation and sunset views at Shanti Stupa. Travel to Kargil with en-route stops at the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Kali Temple and Sangam. Then, visit Mulbek’s Maitreya Buddha rock carving, Drass War Memorial, Fotu La, Lamayuru Monastery and Alchi. Cross Khardung La into Nubra Valley for dunes and double-humped camels, enjoy a day trip to Turtuk, and end the trip at Pangong Lake.

Itinerary Detail
Morning: Arrive in Leh and meet our local representative for an assisted transfer to your Ladakhi-style guest house/hotel.
Afternoon: After check-in, take complete rest to acclimatise to Leh’s high altitude (3,505 m).
Evening: If you feel well, visit Shanti Stupa for sunset views. Dinner and an overnight stay in Leh.
Morning: After breakfast, begin sightseeing with the Hall of Fame, followed by Gurudwara Patthar Sahib.
Afternoon: Continue to Magnetic Hill and Kali Temple, then visit Sangam (Nimmu), the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers; rafting can be arranged (optional). Proceed towards Kargil, visiting Mulbek Monastery and the Maitreya Buddha rock carving en route.
Evening: Arrive in Kargil, check in at the hotel, and unwind. Dinner and an overnight stay in Kargil.
Morning: Drive to Drass and visit the Kargil War Memorial, set amid the dramatic Tololing/Tiger Hill region.
Afternoon: Continue towards Leh, crossing Fotu La (approx. 4,166 m). Stop at Lamayuru village for lunch and visit Lamayuru Monastery. Later, proceed through Sham Valley and visit the Alchi Monastery complex.
Evening: Arrive in Leh and check in at the hotel. Dinner and an overnight stay in Leh.
Morning: After an early breakfast, depart for Nubra Valley via Khardung La (18,380 ft).
Afternoon: Arrive in Hunder and complete the check-in at your camp/hotel.
Evening: Visit the sand dunes and enjoy a double-humped camel ride (optional). Dinner and an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Morning: Start early for a scenic drive to Turtuk (approx. 3–4 hours).
Afternoon: Explore the village on foot, interact with locals, and experience the unique culture and lifestyle of this beautiful region.
Evening: Return to Hunder. Dinner and an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Morning: Visit Diskit Monastery for panoramic views of Nubra Valley.
Afternoon: Drive to Pangong Lake via the Shyok/Agham route (road and weather conditions permitting).
Evening: Arrive at Pangong and enjoy the lake’s turquoise colours against rugged mountain backdrops. Dinner and an overnight stay at Pangong camps.
Morning: After a relaxed breakfast, stroll around Pangong Lake and soak in the landscape.
Afternoon: Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass. En route, visit Thiksey Monastery and Hemis Monastery, and stop at the well-known “Rancho School” (featured in 3 Idiots).
Evening: Arrive in Leh, check in at the hotel, and enjoy leisure time. Dinner and an overnight stay in Leh.
Morning: After an early breakfast, pack your baggage, complete the check-out procedure, and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight.

Inclusions

Special Note:

- Hot water is usually available only from 6:00 to 8:00 AM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
- Leh and remote areas may have power outages; 24-hour electricity should not be expected.
