Ladakh with Himachal Tour

This day marks the beginning of your wonderful journey to Ladakh. Board a flight to Leh and on arrival, our representative will guide you to one of the listed hotel. Later, have a filling breakfast and acclimate yourself to the high altitude. Rest of the evening is free for leisure activities where you can also go to the Leh market to buy precious jewelry.

Kickstart the day with a healthy breakfast and pack all your essentials for a drive to the Sham valley. During the journey, make sure you witness the statue of Maitreya Buddha in the Likir Monastery and also sight the 1000-year old murals of Alchi Monastery which are counted among the best Buddhist miniature paintings. Along with that, visit the Magnetic Hill and Hall of Fame.

Day 3 is scheduled for a sightseeing tour of the famed Nubra Valley across Khardung La Pass. You will also visit the Sumur area, followed by going straight to the camps. You can also drive across Diskit to stay overnight in a camp.

This day you will go for an excursion to Hundar, Diskit and also relish a camel safari on the panoramic sand dunes. The double-humped Bactrian camels are a major highlight of these sand dunes. As the fun-filled tour comes to an end, drive back to Leh for night stay.

Begin day 5 a little early and leave for Pangong Tso Lake through the Chang La Pass. Spend the day in exploring the scenic surroundings and later check-in at the tent camps close to the lake at Spangmik village. You can also drive back to Tangtse and stay at a hotel or guest house for the night.

Begin this day with a delectable breakfast and leave Pangong/Tangtse and resume the journey on the Leh route. As you reach Karu, drive across the Indus River.

Once you are done with breakfast, leave for Sarchu. It is a well-known halt point located some 222 km away from Leh. There are 24 Swiss cottages and 15 Royal cottages that are made of canvas to block the cold waves and provide a comfortable environment. Besides, on your way to Sarchu, stop over at Upshi to visit the Hundur and Hemis monasteries.

As soon as you are done with breakfast, get ready for a road trip to Manali traversing the Baralacha La. Lunch is planned at Sissu village and resume back the journey from the Rohtang Pass. Upon arrival, guests can choose to relax and call it a day or go out for a sightseeing tour.

This day is dedicated to exploring Manali. Some of the top attractions of the town are Hadimba Devi Temple, Jagatsukh and Vashisht Kund, the famous hot water sulfur springs. Make sure you also visit the Tibetan Monastery as well as the handicraft center and take a stroll around the Vashisht village.

After relishing your breakfast, leave for Shimla. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities and relax for a while. Jakhu Temple, Dorje Drak Monastery, Chadwick Falls, and Tara Devi Temple are some attractions you will cover today.

On this day, you will set out to explore Shimla and enjoy the amazing things to do in the city. Kufri is the first attraction you will cover. Seated at an elevation of 2720 meters above the sea level, the hill station is best known for adventure activities like hiking, trekking, and skiing. After enjoying some time in Kufri, head to the Mall and the Ridge in Shimla. Along with that visit the State Library and the Christ Church.

This is the last day of your thrilling tour. After breakfast, leave for Chandigarh. You will be escorted to the railway station/airport for the onward journey.
